What brands owe you, what is late, and the chaser already written.
Ledger reads your brand deal mail, counts each amount only when it finds it word for word in the email, and works out what is late from each invoice's own date and terms. You see what you are owed, what is overdue and who has paid, with a polite chaser drafted for every late invoice, for you to copy or open in Gmail and send yourself.
What it does
- Judge each email on its own: is it about a brand deal.
- Copy each amount as written and check it against the email, word for word.
- Work out what is late from each invoice's own date and terms, and draft a chaser.
What you get
- What you are owed, what is overdue and who has paid, in one ledger.
- Every amount beside the line of the email it came from.
- A polite chaser for each late invoice, for you to send.
What it needs
- Your deal mail, from Gmail, forwarded or uploaded
- Invoice PDFs and a list of deals
- The name your chasers are signed with
Whenever mail arrives, and each weekday morning in your time zone.
Ledger never sends mail. You copy each chaser or open it in Gmail and send it yourself.
Who runs it
Ledger works in one private chat with you, because reading your work Gmail with your own grant only happens in a chat you are in.
- One chat, one ledger: Your Gmail is read there, forwarded mail lands there, and the ledger link and the morning read-out go there.
- Read only, and you send: Ledger reads your deal mail and never sends, deletes or labels it. Only you mark an invoice paid or send a chaser.
What stays yours
- Every figure traced to its email: An amount counts only when it is in its email exactly as written. A vague one like "around 2k" is held for you, never counted, so the totals never bend.
- Dates done in arithmetic: Due dates come from each invoice's own date and terms, such as net 30, worked out in code. A remittance settles the invoice it matches exactly.
Questions
- Does Ledger send chasers for me?
- No. Ledger drafts each chaser. You copy it or open it in Gmail and send it yourself, from your own account.
- I don't have a team workspace. Can I still use it?
- Yes. Forward deal mail to Ledger's own address, or upload invoice PDFs and a list of deals. The ledger starts from those.
- What if an email only says roughly what I'm owed?
- Ledger holds it for you and does not count it. Ask Ledger for a short note asking the brand for the exact figure.
Know what you are owed, and get paid without chasing through your inbox.
Install it, tell Ledger where your deals reach you, and your first ledger fills in front of you.
