When a buyer asks an AI what to use, does it name you?
Every morning it asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, reads every answer for who it names, in order, and whether you are one of them. Where you are left out, it asks that engine why, in the same conversation. One page shows the score, who buyers are told to use instead, and the reasons, with every answer kept word for word.
What it does
- Ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity every question at once.
- Read each answer for who it names, in order, and whether you are there.
- Where you are left out, ask that engine why, in the same conversation.
What you get
- The share of buyer answers that name you, checked every morning.
- Who buyers are told to use instead, and why you were left out.
- Every answer kept word for word, with the pages it cited.
What it needs
- Your company and its website
- The category your buyers ask about
- The questions they would type
Every morning by default, in your time zone.
Nothing is published until you approve it.
Who runs it
The board lives in the room your team already reads in, and the agent that runs it answers there too.
- One room, one board: The link, the drafts and the answers go where the team already talks. Anyone who should see it is in that chat.
- Fixes, drafted for approval: From any footnote, hand the agent a step: a page that answers the questions you are missing from, or a brief on why the engines leave you out. It replies in the chat and nothing goes out until you approve it.
What stays yours
- Your company and your questions: The name every answer is read for, its website so nothing else with the name is counted, and the questions your buyers would actually type.
- Your battery to edit: Add a question on the board and the next check asks it. Stop asking one and it keeps its history.
Questions
- Why is asking about us by name counted apart?
- A buyer who already knows your name is not the buyer this is watching for. It checks the engines know you, and keeps that out of the score.
- How does it know an answer really named us?
- Your own domain has to be in the answer's list of products, and the sentence naming you has to be in the answer word for word. Anything less is not counted.
- Does it need our own ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity keys?
- No. It asks through the platform's own search models, so there is nothing to connect.
