One long piece in, a week of posts out, each pinned to the second it quotes.
Drop a transcript, paste an article link, or point it at your podcast feed. It cuts the text into segments, weighs every one for the line worth a clip, keeps the ones that stand on their own, and drafts a thread, a long-form post and short scripts from them. Every piece sits on the source's own timeline at the second its line was said, and every quote is checked word for word.
What it does
- Take the text with the times it carries: a transcript's own cues, or an article's paragraphs.
- Cut it into segments at speaker turns and sentence ends.
- Weigh every segment for its strongest line, check the line word for word, and keep the ones that stand on their own.
- Draft a thread, a long-form post and short scripts, each pinned to the moment it quotes.
What you get
- How many pieces one long thing became, and where its strongest line is.
- A thread, a long-form post and shorts, ready to copy.
- Every quote traced to the second it was said, word for word.
What it needs
- A transcript or captions file, dropped on the board
- An article or newsletter link, or a podcast feed
- A video or audio file, dropped in the agent's chat
Whenever you drop something in; a watched feed is read every morning in your time zone.
Nothing is posted anywhere. You copy a piece, or ask the agent to change one in your chat.
Who runs it
The pieces live on their own board, and the agent that runs it transcribes what the app cannot read, in your chat.
- Your chat with Remix: Drop a video or audio file here and Remix transcribes it and sends the text to the board. Rewrites and scripts come back here too.
- Drafts, never posts: From any footnote, ask Remix for a shorter thread or a 60-second script. It changes the draft; nothing is published anywhere.
What stays yours
- Your library: Every episode, talk and article you cut, each with its moments and pieces, one tap from the second each line was said.
- Your feed, watched: Point it at your podcast feed and each new episode with a transcript is cut before you are up.
Questions
- Can it read my video or my audio?
- Not by itself: the app reads text. Drop the file in Remix's chat and Remix transcribes it there and sends the transcript to the board, where it is cut like any other.
- Where do the timestamps come from?
- Only from the transcript's own cue times. An article has paragraphs instead, and its timeline counts in paragraphs and says so.
- Does it post anything for me?
- No. You copy a piece when you are ready, or ask Remix in the chat to change it first.
